Introduction

The model presented is a Peugeot 5008 1.6 HDi FAP 115 hp

  1. 
Remove the retaining clip from the stirrup using a flathead screwdriver

Using the screwdriver, push the caliper piston back slightly.

Clean the litters of the screed or where the pads are positioned using the wire brush

Install the inner pad directly onto the caliper by clipping it in place

Reassemble the stirrup

Reassemble the wheel

Place the vehicle on the ground

Do the same for the other side

    • Pump the brake pedal several times until it becomes hard

    • Check the brake fluid level, which should be between the minimum and maximum levels.

Thanks for this guide!

Several things:

- dust cover? I didn't see any dust cover...

- the caliper screws with the 7 Allen key were VERY hard to remove: do not hesitate to use a hammer on the Allen key.

- I find it helps to use a syringe to remove a little brake fluid at the beginning to prevent it from overflowing. Work with the brake fluid reservoir open so it doesn't overflow at the caliper and have a good rag to catch the excess.
