Introduction

Intervention carried out on VW Polo 3 restyled 1.4 60hp at the front right

  1. Spray WD40 on the nut.
    • Spray WD40 on the nut.

    • Using a 14mm socket remove the nut.

    • Remove the stabilizer bar silentbloc.

  2. Spray all fasteners with WD40. Remove the screw on the passenger compartment side Remove the nut that holds the triangle to the spindle.
    • Spray all fasteners with WD40.

    • Remove the screw on the passenger compartment side

    • Remove the nut that holds the triangle to the spindle.

    • Unscrew the screw on the front side of the vehicle.

  3. Unable to remove the screw that comes into contact with the engine housing. Place a jack with a wooden wedge under the crankcase and pressurize it. Unscrew the engine mount screw a few turns.
    • Unable to remove the screw that comes into contact with the engine housing.

    • Place a jack with a wooden wedge under the crankcase and pressurize it.

    • Unscrew the engine mount screw a few turns.

    • No need to remove the screw completely.

    • Raise the engine using the jack.

  4. Remove the screw and then the triangle.
    • Remove the screw and then the triangle.

  5. Old triangle New triangle
    • Old triangle

    • New triangle

    • Reassembly is carried out in reverse order.

Do you have the tightening torque for each of the triangle fixings?

The lower link, the rear anchor and the front support?
