Introduction
It will be easier to work with the window open.
Parts
-
-
remove the cover by passing a flat screwdriver or a spatula and making a 1/4 turn counter-clockwise
-
remove the two screws with the Phillips screwdriver
-
unclip it by pulling it towards you
-
there are two clips, it's easier to start with the top one (it's not visible in the photo but the circle indicates its location)
-
-
-
remove the 3 mirror fixing screws with a 10mm wrench
-
use a magnet if possible, to avoid dropping the screws inside the door
-
remove the rearview mirror from the outside of the car, pulling towards you
-
the interior adjustment lever comes out with the rearview mirror, you have to push it with your left hand to make it pass through the door (hence the interest in working with the window open)
-
-
-
Pass the interior adjustment lever and the mirror notch into their housing
-
make sure the notch is showing well
-
press the mirror to retract the notch completely
-
-
-
Tighten the 3 mirror fixing screws with the 10mm key
-
A magnet can be placed in the key to hold the screws in place and prevent them from falling out.
-
-
-
clip the bottom part starting with the top clip
-
clip the bottom
-
screw in the two fixing screws
-
-
-
This step is more delicate than it seems because you have to insert the lugs of the cover into the 7 slots on the inside of the mirror.
-
present the cache flat
-
push towards the rear of the vehicle

THANK YOU SO MUCH
Perfect instructions, easily installed in 15 mins, really great, my daughter had broken her mirror, found a compatible one for €38 delivered and installed free of charge thanks to a_bosc2000!
little tip, to not lose the screws in the door if you don't have a magnetic key like me, unscrew with a click key and finish with pliers, same for reassembling!
