Introduction

Before working on the battery, open a window and remove the keys from the vehicle.

Peugeot 3008 2.0 HDi 150 engine

  1. Open the hood The battery is located here
    • Open the hood

  2. Disconnect the air filter sensor Disconnect the air filter sensor Disconnect the air filter sensor
    • Disconnect the air filter sensor

  3. Loosen the air filter clamp using a Phillips screwdriver.
    • Loosen the air filter clamp using a Phillips screwdriver.

  4. Loosen the 4 Phillips screws on the air box Remove the air box cover Remove the air box cover
    • Loosen the 4 Phillips screws on the air box

    • Remove the air box cover

  5. Disconnect the + terminal of the battery CAUTION THE + TERMINAL MUST NOT TOUCH ANY METALLIC PART
    • Disconnect the + terminal of the battery

    • CAUTION THE + TERMINAL MUST NOT TOUCH ANY METALLIC PART

  6. Remove the fuse cover
    • Remove the fuse cover

  7. Disconnect the connector Unscrew the 2 nuts of 13 Disconnect the 2 cables
    • Disconnect the connector

    • Unscrew the 2 nuts of 13

    • Disconnect the 2 cables

  8. Remove the fuse holder by unclipping it from the 2 small tabs Remove the fuse holder by unclipping it from the 2 small tabs Remove the fuse holder by unclipping it from the 2 small tabs
    • Remove the fuse holder by unclipping it from the 2 small tabs

  9. Remove the battery cover by pulling upwards and then towards you. Remove the battery cover by pulling upwards and then towards you. Remove the battery cover by pulling upwards and then towards you.
    • Remove the battery cover by pulling upwards and then towards you.

  10. Disconnect the - terminal from the battery using the ratchet with the extension and the 10 socket. DO NOT PUT THE + AND - TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY IN CONTACT WITH A METALLIC OBJECT
    • Disconnect the - terminal from the battery using the ratchet with the extension and the 10 socket.

    • DO NOT PUT THE + AND - TERMINAL OF THE BATTERY IN CONTACT WITH A METALLIC OBJECT

  11. Remove the battery retaining tab located to the left of the battery using the ratchet, the extension and the 10 socket. Remove the battery Remove the battery
    • Remove the battery retaining tab located to the left of the battery using the ratchet, the extension and the 10 socket.

    • Remove the battery

  12. Check the correspondence between the new battery and the old one Check the correspondence between the new battery and the old one
  13. Install the new battery Replace the retaining tab to lock it Replace the - terminal of the battery
    • Install the new battery

    • Replace the retaining tab to lock it

    • Replace the - terminal of the battery

  14. Replace the battery cover Replace the fuse holder Reconnect the connector and the 2 cables by screwing in the 2 13 mm screws.
    • Replace the battery cover

    • Replace the fuse holder

    • Reconnect the connector and the 2 cables by screwing in the 2 13 mm screws.

  15. Reconnect the + terminal of the battery Reconnect the + terminal of the battery Reconnect the + terminal of the battery
    • Reconnect the + terminal of the battery

  16. Reassemble the air filter by tightening the 4 screws Tighten the collar Reconnect the sensor
    • Reassemble the air filter by tightening the 4 screws

    • Tighten the collar

    • Reconnect the sensor

Conclusion

Remember to set the vehicle time.

If an engine fault appears when starting the vehicle, turn it off and lock it with the key for 10 minutes.

Thanks for this tutorial, battery replaced on 3008 hybrid4 2014, for info: after changing turn on the ignition and wait 1 minute, then there is only the time to set. It's 👌 nickel
