Introduction
It is best to change all 4 injectors at the same time but this is not mandatory.
We work with gasoline, so the battery is disconnected, no source of spark nearby, safety glasses and nitrile gloves are preferred.
-
-
Unscrew the 5 screws on the cover with a cross-head screwdriver and undo the 4 clips
-
remove the air filter and air sleeve
-
unscrew the 4 screws holding the air box using a ratchet wrench and an E14 female Torx socket, unclip the breather hose and remove the air box
-
-
-
disconnect the injector plugs and the fuel supply hose from the rail
-
we will have put a cloth underneath to avoid getting gasoline everywhere
-
unscrew the 2 screws fixing the ramp with the Torx T30 key
-
remove the ramp and drain the gasoline from the ramp into a container
-
Place rags on the throttle body and injector wells to prevent dirt from entering the engine
-
-
-
lever with a small flat screwdriver
-
and undo the injector fixing clip
-
then undo the injector by pulling it
-
If the blue O-ring remains in the ramp, remove it
-
-
-
Grease the blue O-ring to prevent damage and make assembly easier (new engine oil can be used)
-
insert the injector into the ramp
-
Be sure to respect the orientation (you can use the other injectors as a model). Leave the bottom plastic cap in place; remove it at the last moment.
-
lock it with the clip and check that everything is in place
-
Again, the other injectors can be used as a model.
-
-
-
replace the other injectors if necessary using the same procedure
-
It is better to change the injectors one after the other, so we will have the markers to reassemble correctly (direction, orientation)
-
-
-
Clean the injector wells thoroughly, making sure nothing falls into the cylinders
-
-
-
remove the bottom plastic caps, oil the O-rings and present the ramp
-
put the ramp in place by pressing on each injector and screw in the 2 fixing screws using the Torx T30 key
-
connect the injectors and clip the fuel supply hose
-
-
-
put the air box in place after clipping the breather hose
-
Make sure the throttle body is seated properly and the throttle cable is securely connected.
-
tighten the 4 air box screws using the E14 female Torx ratchet and socket and fit the air filter and air sleeve
-
replace the cover, tighten the 5 screws using a cross-head screwdriver and lock the retaining clips

Hello, where is the pressure regulator on the rail? I don't see it. Kind regards. Is it in the fuel pump by chance?
