Hello, I have a 2011 Clio Campus petrol. I got it on the passenger side without going to the garage, by removing the two screws above the headlight to give some slack and I removed the clips from the air conditioning circuit to give more space.

And yet I have big hands, but I still left a little skin!!!

Can someone also put the type of bulbs I only read H7. Dual beam headlight and full beam? (sidelight too). Thanks

On a Clio 2, whether it's the passenger side headlight or the driver's headlight, same fight. Both are almost inaccessible for reassembly. And I think Renault did it on purpose, so that you have to go to their place or to a garage to change a bulb. Bunch of Renault rats. Next vehicle it won't be a Renault but a vehicle that I would have taken care to check before purchase whether to change a bulb, that you don't have to call Tinkerbell or take everything apart. Atrocious policy, really.

The tutorial is useful because it provides information on turning the bracket to remove it blindly, but on the passenger side it is clockwise when disassembling and access is much narrower. You can do it with thin arms and hands, but I also injured the back of my hand when reassembling.

I unscrewed the headlight above and pulled it towards me to gain an angle.

Bulb changed in 10 minutes.

On my 2004 Clio 2 I managed to change the low beam bulb on the passenger side, despite the very annoying air conditioning but it was impossible to reattach it because of a problem with the brackets, I had to go to Renault and the mechanic struggled for 30 minutes.

On the driver's side, the low beam bulb is not the air conditioning pipes, but the fuse box located just in front of it!

The mechanic also replaced a front parking light bulb on the driver's side, this bulb is in the same location as the main beam headlights and he had to use a lot of force with pliers to remove the connector block because again there is no room to access it.

Quite a few brands make safety accessories almost impossible to change. What should you do if a bulb fails in the middle of the night in the rain? I've even had two low-beam bulbs fail within a second of each other; this is apparently common.

Why are these vehicles approved when you can't change safety accessories like bulbs yourself?

The bulb is inaccessible on the passenger side, especially with the air conditioning pipes passing in front. The only solution is to remove the front bumper (10mm wrench) to access the front fixing bolt of the headlight (one in front and one on top). With the headlight removed, it's much more accessible. This is how Renault does it in the workshop; once again, a big thank you to the idiot engineer who designed this system

I just did it, without disassembling anything, assuming that not all mechanics have magic hands. The solution: to avoid cutting yourself if you put your hand in, a piece of cardboard, and for the rest, keep it simple, a simple pair of multi-grip pliers that you handle carefully.

The bulb is accessible without removing the bumper (my Clio also has air conditioning). I changed mine last night. Afterwards, I agree with everyone, it's really very painful. It took me 15 minutes and I cut my hand in the process. It's the installation of the new bulb that is not practical because you work blindly. It's true that the engineers could have foreseen something, you are absolutely right.

I have a Clio 2 phase 2 year 2007, impossible to change the bulb of the low beam on the passenger side. There is not enough space to put your hands in.

Too bad there is no video online that explains the procedure in detail.

I love these FRUSTRATING tutorials on the Clio 2's right headlight. Now I understand why a tenth of cars have one less light. The left one is inaccessible. You have to take it apart or have magic hands.

On the driver's side, it's easy but on the passenger's side it's harder, I damaged my hand there isn't much room, when you do a tutorial you do it fully, right side and left side.
