Attention!!! On citroen berlingo 1.6L hdi

Once disassembled from below the screw that you can have with an extension.

The starter should normally have fallen off but there is a metal tab with a spring which really bothered me and which broke.

I'm trying to find out what it's for.

If anyone can tell me more.

Thanks in advance
