Replacing the stabilizer bar bushings on Peugeot 308 from 2007 to 2013. Tutorial also valid for c4, 3008, 307

Remove the front wheels.

Unscrew the 8 screws with a ratchet and a 10 socket.

Unscrew the lower nut of the stabilizer bar links on both sides of the vehicle.

A 16 flat wrench and a T30 torx bit to hold the ball joint during loosening.

Lever to disconnect the link from the stabilizer bar.

-
Unscrew the nut and the bearing screw.
-
The nut using a ratchet and a 21 socket.
-
If the screw head turns, lock it using vise grips.
-
The torx screw using a ratchet and an E16 socket.
-

-
Spread the edges of the old pad apart so that it can be removed.
-
Compare the new pad with the old one.
-
Proceed to replace the new pad

Align the flats on the bushing with the flats on the stabilizer bar.

Make sure the bearing is perfectly positioned when refitting the bearing.

Tighten the nut

Tighten to 11 daN.m

Tighten the torx screw
-
Tighten to 10 daN.m
-
-
-
Leverage by pressing on the stabilizer bar while leaning on the cradle.
-
Re-couple the tie rod with the stabilizer bar.
-
Tighten the nut.

Tighten to 4 daN.m
-

Replace the plastic cover
-
Tighten the 8 nuts.
-
Tighten the wheel bolts to 10 daN.m
