Do not touch the glass of halogen bulbs, this degrades their quality
“do not touch the bulb if it has recently been switched on” if you change it this means that the bulb is dead, so there is no risk if you touch it.

It is impossible to access the bulb without removing the headlight or the fuse box. Well done Peugeot engineers, they have an interest in calling on professionals. For !A !!bulb

It is impossible to access Lempoul without removing the headlights, well done Peugeot engineers, it should have been easier to contact a professional and of course an additional cost

It's very simple, just take a pair of bent-nose pliers and pull on the connector. No clips, it's the connector that holds the bulb. With the pliers, pull on it because it's stuck. Put the other one in place by looking into the optics and not at the shutter. Put the connector and the cap back on and that's it

On 208 1.4 HDI 2013, there is no longer a retaining spring as in the photo, you pull or push the bulb directly (after disconnecting the connector) that's all, when it works! For my left light, same problem because of the fuse box that gets in the way. In addition, the bulb does not want to be placed in the middle in the axis, the two side springs are not symmetrical, I think I have to change the optics, out of warranty...

It's indeed very clear. But it works for the right front light. For the one on the left, access is not possible with the hand given the little space there is once the large cap has been removed. How can we proceed?

Certainly, but access to the bulbs is difficult, if not impossible.
What needs to be removed to make this access easier? The headlights or the engine accessories? And, most importantly, how?
For my 208 1.2 82cv from 2014, it is the connector which also acts as a fixing and it is easy to break…..:(
Additionally, the spur is located at the top…

Nice photos and it looks pretty clear. However, on my 208 Hdi I don't have these clips. At least I can see here that the lug would be facing down.
