Introduction
Changing the spark plugs on Suzuki Swift (2010-2017), 1.2 VVT 94hp petrol engine.

Disconnect the battery using a flat wrench or ratchet + 10 mm socket.

Remove the two air box retaining screws using a 10 mm wrench.

Undo the clips on the side of the air box with a flat screwdriver or a plastic remover.

Remove the air box by pulling it upwards and also remove the air filter.

Remove the 4 connectors using a flat screwdriver or multi-grip pliers.

Remove the 4 ignition coil screws using a 10mm wrench.

Pull up to remove the spools. Be sure to set them aside in order.

Using a 16mm spark plug wrench, ratchet and extension, remove the spark plugs one by one by turning them counterclockwise.

Position the spark plugs one by one in their wells, ideally putting a little copper grease on the threads (which will make the next disassembly easier!).

Tighten the spark plugs to the correct torque (17 Nm) using a torque wrench or advance the tightening by hand then make a 1/4 turn with a ratchet wrench to finalize the tightening.

Reposition the ignition coils, the 4 screws and reconnect the connectors.

Replace the air box with the filter then reclip the two levers, replace the side clips and screw the 2 retaining screws back in.

Reconnect the battery and start the vehicle to check that it is working properly.
