In order to properly drain the oil, the engine must be warm. To do this, let the engine run for 15-20 minutes before starting the drain.

Pull the red lever located under the steering wheel. The hood will lift slightly.

Locate the oil cap.

Please note: The position may vary from one engine to another but the principle will always be the same.

Unscrew the oil cap a quarter turn, then remove it.

    • Unclip the engine cover by lifting it firmly.

    • Place the oil cap in its place without screwing it in to facilitate proper draining.

If you do not have access to a pit to drain the oil, it will be necessary to raise the front of the vehicle. Proceed with caution.

Locate the on-board tools under the spare wheel in the trunk. Take the jack (ideally a hydraulic jack would be better, this makes some of the following operations easier).

On the side front right, position the jack at the lifting notch and raise the vehicle. Set up one or two candles for your safety

    • Using the 8mm socket wrench, remove the 6 screws holding the front cover and remove the cover.

Locate the oil filter holder.

Using the 14-sided key, unscrew the filter holder.

Remove the oil filter holder, set aside for step 6.

    • Remove the oil filter holder, set aside for step 6.

Locate the drain plug. It is located under the vehicle, on the front right side.

Using the 13mm socket wrench, unscrew the drain plug.

Remove the cap, taking care to position a recovery basin.

    • Remove the cap, taking care to position a recovery basin.

    • Be careful, the oil is hot.

In addition to the filter, you need to change the three seals located on the filter holder. The three seals, marked by the red rectangles, can be removed using a small flathead screwdriver. To remove the filter itself, simply slide it in the direction of the arrow.

Place the three seals and the filter in place. The seals will be lightly oiled to facilitate the replacement of the filter holder.
    • In addition to the filter, you need to change the three seals located on the filter holder. The three seals, marked by the red rectangles, can be removed using a small flathead screwdriver. To remove the filter itself, simply slide it in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the jack stand(s) to put the vehicle back on level ground, and once the oil has completely drained, put the vehicle back on the jack stand(s).

It is advisable to change the cap at each oil change.

Replace the cap and tighten it using the 13mm wrench.

    • Replace the filter holder in its location and tighten it using the 14-sided wrench.

    • After this step you will no longer have to access the underside of the vehicle, reassemble the plastic cover using the 8mm socket wrench and lower the vehicle.

Remove the filler cap.

Using a funnel, fill the engine with oil. You need 7.5 liters for the model shown (220CDI). Check the required quantity in your logbook.

Replace the engine cover and screw the oil filler cap back on. Close the hood.

Put the ignition key in and turn it to position 2.

Using the menu selection buttons (yellow rectangle), scroll through the menus until the vehicle's overall mileage appears.

Using the menu scroll arrows (blue rectangle), display the oil change indicator (Service exceeded by XXX km).

    • Press the mileage reset button until you hear a beep. The button is located on the left of the meter.

    • The message "Maintenance indicator Reset to 0..." appears. Press the mileage reset button for 3 seconds. The oil change is complete.

I think it's more like 6.5 liters. It's stated in the vehicle manual.
