  3. Unscrew the two 13 bolts on the tensioner roller.

    • Remove the belt.

  4. Remove the two upper 13 bolts.

    • The offset key allows you to unscrew the left one and pass it through one of the holes in the pulley.

    • At the end of the arrow we can see a bore for the pulley which will allow the key to pass through.

    • Finish unscrewing by hand otherwise the key will remain stuck.

    • Rotate the idler roller in the direction of the green arrow.

    • Remove the last bolt by passing a small universal joint through the hole behind the anti-vibration mass.

    • Any belt that has been removed must be replaced.

    • The tensioner bolts do not need to be tightened.

    • Refit in reverse order. The bolts cannot be tightened to the specified torque because the torque wrench will not fit.

  5. Make the tool mot.1638 with a threaded rod (or a threaded hook), a washer and a long nut.

  6. Turn the crankshaft two times clockwise. Check that everything is OK.
