Raise the vehicle and place it on a jack stand

Start the vehicle and let it run for about 5 minutes to properly thin the engine oil. Do this before lifting the vehicle.

Using the drain key, unscrew the drain plug after having first placed a container underneath.

Allow the crankcase to drain completely.

Remove the old copper gasket from the drain plug and clean the drain plug thoroughly.

Replace the copper gasket by placing it back on the drain plug with its small groove toward the drain plug.

Unscrew the filter bell using a socket wrench.

Remove the old seal from its housing.

Compare the old filter and gasket with the new ones to ensure match.

Place the new gasket and the new filter in their respective locations at the bell. Then screw the bell back on with a torque of 25 Nm.

Locate the oil reservoir cap.

Add 5W40 engine oil corresponding to your engine. Check as you fill using the level gauge.

When you have reached the correct oil level, you should start the engine to allow the oil to circulate through the system for 3 to 5 minutes.

After this, the oil level will drop again because the bell and the filter will fill up. Then top up the oil by checking the level with the dipstick. Once the level is correct, your oil change is complete.
