Good morning,

All methods of resetting the engine oil life meter do not work with my 2016 vitara 1.6 diesel.

No 'oil' item in the dashboard menu (so no reset).

and FABIEN FERNANDEZ's method with the brake pedal does not work with my vehicle (same engine as him).

If anyone has another idea, I'm interested.

THANKS

Good morning,

Doesn't work with my vehicle (same engine year 2016). Any other ideas?

1.6ddis engine reset…turn on the ignition without starting.

Enter the remaining km before oil change if not yet lit with the right button, accelerator pressed and 4 presses on the brake pedal.

Release the accelerator pedal and turn off the ignition, turn the ignition back on and 30,000 km appears.

I do it like this!

Those who don't know always present you with the reset for gasoline engines, nothing to do with it, this one is child's play...

Great, you will be able to do it yourself and remove this damn yellow screen that eats up the entire display just to say DRAIN TO BE DONE…

For the change of the transfer case and rear axle oil, do you have any idea of the number of kilometers?

and the operating mode.

Thanks for this tutorial.

Do you have any idea for resetting the dashboard oil meter?

Regarding a 2015 diesel Vitara.

(note: I don't have the same oil filter as you at all...)

Sincerely
