This tutorial is very nice, more than basic and concerns the rear silent block that even Gilbert Montagne could change, but nothing on the front silent block which is good but really much more difficult to replace. It is of no interest, it is like the technical automobile magazines where we find roughly five pages to carry out the oil change but only one to remove the dashboard.

The silent block is in the rear triangle bearing on the cradle support.

According to the technical review the tightening torque is 5 daN.m then angular tightening of 90 degrees.

Personally I am not a mechanic but the wheel bolts are tightened to 12 daN.m. so I don't bother, I put thread lock and tighten the bolts with my ratchet wrench.

Advice, look carefully at the bearing, you have to put it on the right side, otherwise, like me, you risk having to remove it to change sides.

To remove the bearing it is difficult, you must not lose patience and tap on it, then put grease to put it back

Good luck

Be careful if you do not use the t10096 tool at the location of the isolated screw before unscrewing the other 2 screws to wedge the silent block: you must redo the parallelism.

Please specify the tightening torques of the bolts. Kind regards

Good morning,

Is it possible to specify the tightening torques?
