Replacing stabilizer bar links on Peugeot 307

  1. 
Raise and wedge the front of the car, both wheels must be raised during the operation even to replace only one, otherwise the stabilizer bar will twist and the force exerted on the link will prevent you from removing it

Unlock and remove the lower nut, use a 5 Allen key to hold the ball joint while loosening with the 17 key

Turn the steering wheel fully to the left to replace the connecting rod on the right side and vice versa for the other side.

Unlock and remove the upper nut still using the 5 Allen key and the 17 key.

    • Unlock and remove the upper nut still using the 5 Allen key and the 17 key.

Move the ABS cable bracket, held by the upper nut of the tie rod, aside to release it

Pull the connecting rod upwards

Reposition the connecting rod from the top and place it back in its housing on the shock absorber

Tighten the tie rod nuts firmly, use the 5mm Allen key to hold the ball joint if it turns before the nut is fully seated

You do not specify the final tightening of these elements to the torque, wheels on the ground, it is essential no for all that is suspension element?
