Open the engine hood

To avoid any electrical short circuit, disconnect the battery with an 8 mm socket, starting with the negative terminal then the positive terminal.

Unscrew the 6 engine cover screws using a T15 torx screwdriver

Disconnect the oil vapor recycling lines from the cylinder head covers by pushing the yellow clips on each side by hand or with a screwdriver if difficult.

Then carefully place the oil vapor recycling pipe on the side of the engine

Remove the 4 coil block fixing screws using the T15 torx screwdriver

Disconnect the connector from the coil pack while pressing the metal strip of the connector and pulling it downwards

Remove the coil pack by pulling it firmly vertically

When reassembling, remember to reconnect the battery in reverse order, positive terminal then negative terminal.

When changing ignition coils, it is mandatory to call in an automotive technician equipped with a Peugeot diagnostic case in order to erase any engine fault code present in the computer because a faulty coil generally records one or more fault codes in the computer.
