and if we didn't wait to disconnect the battery... what can we do afterwards?

The tutorial is perfect. I would just add that to avoid having faults at the next start, before disconnecting the battery you must:

1. Check the ignition switch off and remove the key from the ignition.. For vehicles equipped with a hands-free starting system, move the remote control away from a perimeter of more than 3 meters around the vehicle. Check that no tools are connected to the diagnostic socket. The lights and hazard lights must be off.

2. Exit the vehicle and close the door

3. Wait 6 minutes putting the vehicle's consumers on standby, before disconnecting the battery. For vehicles equipped with a automatic gearbox type AL4, the waiting time before disconnecting the battery is 12 minutes.

4. After connecting the new one, we should not have any errors.

Perfect tutorial indeed, as well as this comment. I will add a second thing. Remember to read your car's manual which indicates in particular the elements to reset: Date / time, but also sequential electric window lift.

Depending on your options, there will be other elements to deal with (it's very simple).

For my part, by following this procedure as well as this comment, 0 faults identified by the car.

Hello, I did everything that is marked and when I wanted to start my car it tells me faulty braking system?

What should I do?

You have to try to let the electronics fall asleep and wake up properly and then drive a little. If all goes well the fault will disappear by itself. To avoid this kind of problem next time, before disconnecting your battery I advise you to wait 5 to 10 minutes, doors closed and key not in.
