Introduction

  1. 
Open the engine hood.

The battery is located on the left side.

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. It has a "-" sign on it.

Use a 10mm wrench to loosen the retaining nut.

Put the pod aside.

In the same way as the previous step, remove the positive terminal marked with the “+” symbol.

The battery is held in place in its housing using a clamp.

Using a ratchet, a 150 mm extension and a 10 mm socket, remove the flange fixing screw.

Once the clamp is completely removed, the battery can be removed.

Compare the features of the new battery and the old one.

Remove the protective covers from the new battery.

Place the battery in its location in the same way as the old one.

Replace the clamp and screw at the bottom of the tray. Check that the battery is properly held in place.

Tighten the positive terminal.

Then the negative terminal
    • Tighten the positive terminal.

    • Check for proper operation.

    • Drop off the old battery at an approved recovery center.
