Changing a turn signal on a Mitsubishi Space Star

open the hood

unscrew the retaining screw using a cross-head screwdriver

remove the indicator

The indicator is still connected so don't pull too hard.

pull the tab of the plug outwards

and pull to unplug

remove the indicator

make sure the indicators are compatible

Check that the bulb is present on the new indicator.

the indicator has 2 legs

which are housed in the lighthouse

One of the lugs is broken on this vehicle but that will not prevent reassembly.

plug in the socket

We must hear a click.

Put the indicator correctly in place (see previous step) and push it in as far as it will go

tighten the retaining screw, Phillips screwdriver

make sure everything is working properly
