There are only 2 models of stalks for the Twingo 1: a black one and a gray one. You can mount a black stalk instead of a gray one and vice versa. The connectors are not placed in exactly the same place but they are identical and compatible.
-
-
-
present the switch and plug it in
-
There are keyways so it's impossible to make a mistake. If it forces you, don't insist, you haven't presented the socket correctly.
-
turn on the ignition and check that everything works
-
put the switch in place and screw in its 2 retaining screws, T20 torx key
-
-

screw the screw on the left side, torx key T20
-
screw the other screw, same key
-
-
-
remove the key from the ignition

install the cover by aligning the lugs correctly
-
Place the plastic cover of the switch well inside.

Hello, the description of the disassembly and reassembly of the switch is perfect and easy to follow. On the other hand, it should be noted that the black or gray switches can be adapted, but since the indicator ratchet is not the same length, it will not necessarily return automatically when the steering wheel is brought back after turning. Perhaps you have an adaptation solution?
Hello, you are absolutely right. Personally, I think the easiest thing is to choose the same switch as the one originally installed on the car.
On the Twingo in the tutorial, there was an original gray switch but someone had fitted a black switch later. I refitted a gray switch, €10 at the scrapyard.
