Introduction

This tutorial is made on a Peugeot 207 1.6 HDi 16V 90 hp

  1. 
Push the crank located under the steering wheel at the bottom left

Open the hood

Tighten the air inlet hose clamp with multi-grip pliers then place it to the side

Disconnect the flow meter plug

Remove the engine cover by pulling it upwards

Unclip the bottom then the top of the turbo air inlet hose then remove it.

Remove the 2 battery covers

Disconnect the heater connector plug

Remove the diesel outlet hose

    • Disconnect the heater connector plug

    • Remove the diesel outlet hose

Remove the brake vacuum hose

Unlock the fuel filter

Unlock the fuel filter
    • Remove the brake vacuum hose

    • Unlock the fuel filter

Remove the fuel filter by pressing the tab

Remove the drain hose from the fuel filter

    • Remove the fuel filter by pressing the tab

    • Remove the drain hose from the fuel filter

Compare the dimensions (number of hoses, size, shape) between the old and new fuel filter

Remove the heater using a flat screwdriver as leverage.

Remove the two old heater gaskets and replace the two new ones.

Re-clip the heater onto the new fuel filter

Insert the drain tube onto the fuel filter

Replace the filter on the slides

Relock the filter

Replace the diesel outlet hose

Replace the heater power plug

Replace the brake vacuum hose
    • Replace the diesel outlet hose

    • Replace the heater power plug

    • Replace the brake vacuum hose

Use the bulb by applying pressure to re-prime the diesel for 5 to 10 minutes (when the circuit is full of diesel the bulb becomes harder).

Reposition the hose then reconnect the flow meter plug

Replace the turbo inlet hose clamp with a pair of pliers.

Tighten the two flow meter screws

How to recognize the difference between the diesel inlet pipe and the diesel outlet pipe, they are identical, and I am afraid of reversing them when reassembling...

Thanks for this tutorial, maybe specify that the diesel pump on certain models is not in this location.

but still a very good tutorial.
