Introduction

Change Shock absorber cup and shock absorber if you purchased them as the steps are the same.

Video Overview

  1. 
Loosen the stabilizer bar link 17mm wrench

Loosen the shock absorber screws

Loosen the ABS sensor cable bracket
    • Loosen the stabilizer bar link 17mm wrench

    • Loosen the shock absorber screws

    • Loosen the ABS sensor cable bracket

  2. 
Loosen the anti-rebound cup
    • Loosen the anti-rebound cup

    • For this you can use a 21mm long socket and a 6mm Allen that goes through the middle of the socket to prevent the shock absorber rod from rotating.

  3. 
Compress the spring using the spring compressor until the metal cup is released.

Place the three compressors at 120° intervals.
    • Compress the spring using the spring compressor until the metal cup is released.

    • Place the three compressors at 120° intervals.

    • Unscrew the nut and remove the elements (ball stop; cup; spacer)

    • Do the steps in reverse order

    • Tightening torques:

    • Shock absorber screw 110 Nm

    • 60 Nm anti-rebound cup
