Start by removing the shock absorbers (See Etape 1 - tutoriel de remplacement de l’amortisseur arrière droit)
-
Once the shocks are removed, the bridge should be low enough to remove the rear springs without any effort or spring compressor. Simply pull on the spring to remove it.
-
If the bridge is not low enough, you can move it further away from the chassis by having someone pry it up with a crowbar, or use a spring compressor (Reverse the procedure to reassembly)
-
-
-
Check that the new spring is compatible
-
I opted for a riser, so the spring is larger, but the assembly process is the same
-
Compress the new spring (Not necessary if you are two CF disassembling)
-
Use suitable spring compressors, tighten gradually on each side and never get in the way of the spring!
-
-
-
Place the new spring in the housing
-
Gradually unscrew the spring compressors on each side
-
Reassemble the shock absorber (See Etape 2 - tutoriel de remplacement de l’amortisseur arrière droit
