Replacing the engine fan resistor on 206 2 Liters S16 138Cv

  1. 
Spot the resistance

It is located behind the front bumper grille.

I use a 3/4 ratchet with an extension and a 10MM hex socket

The resistance comes out easily from the bottom

So I pass my extension through my bumper grille c in order to unscrew the 10 screw

  3. 
Once the screw is loosened, extract the resistor

Shift it to the left then towards yourself (it comes out without forcing)

Disconnect it by pressing the small metal clips on the connector.

Compare the old and the new.

Identify the 3 lugs in order to correctly reconnect the connector

Replace the resistor in its housing,

Right side first then push it into its housing

Finish by screwing in the 10mm screw

Hello. How do I do it on a 206 xt? Can you remove the nut? It's impossible to get your hands in from the top or bottom to loosen the terminal and the resistor. Thanks.
