Introduction
Change pollen/cabin filter on Citroën Xsara

Open the front right door of your Xsara

The filter is located under the glove box
-

Take your TORX T30 screwdriver and remove the 3 plastic screws

Remove the cover and shift the harness to access the filter cover

Using the screwdriver and a 6mm socket, unscrew the screw holding the cover, and slide it to the side

Remove the old filter by pulling downwards

Don't hesitate to give it a quick vacuum and microfiber wipe because dust accumulates if the filter hasn't been replaced for a long time like here

Compare the filters, if the size is suitable put the new one back in the slot

The filter has a mounting direction, you cannot make a mistake because it has a foolproof feature (the size of the fins)

Reassemble by following the steps in reverse order.
