Draining and replacing all Boxer filters

Locate the air filter

Unscrew the 4 crosshead screws

Open the air box

Remove the air filter

Check the correspondence between the old and new air filter

Install the new filter

Close the air box

Tighten the 4 Phillips screws

Disconnect the two fuel hoses

Remove filter

Using the strap wrench, loosen the filter

Remove the fuel filter

Check the correspondence between the old and new filter

Install the new filter

Replace the seal

Install the new filter*

Tighten it using the strap wrench

Replace the filter

Reconnect the fuel lines

Turn the ignition on several times to bleed the fuel system.

Remove the filler cap and oil dipstick

Place the drain pan under the engine

Using the 13 key, unscrew the drain plug.

Using the 27 socket ratchet, loosen the oil filter.

Remove the oil filter

Remove the old filter

Check the correspondence between the old and new filter

Replace the drain gasket

Install the new filter

Reinstall the oil filter

Tighten it using the ratchet and the 27 socket.

Replace the cap

Tighten it using the 13 mm flat wrench.

Pour the oil into the engine through the filler hole

Check the level

DO NOT EXCEED MAX LEVEL

Replace the dipstick and filler cap
