Take advantage of the fact that the car is on the ground to slightly loosen the wheel studs.

Raise the car using a jack and then finish loosening the wheel studs.

    • Place the vehicle on jack stands and remove the wheel.

    • Before starting the disassembly procedure, repeat the operation for the other side.

To remove the plate, loosen the screws using an XZN14 male socket.

Open the filler cap.

Locate the hose located at the bottom right of the radiator. To easily locate it, it is equipped with a quarter-turn valve.

    • Place a container of sufficient capacity to receive the used coolant.

    • Loosen the hose clamp using pliers and shift it so that the lower water hose can be released.

    • For environmental reasons, place the used liquid in an empty container of at least 5 liters.

Open the quarter turn tap.

Start the vehicle.

Warm up the vehicle until it reaches operating temperature.

    • When it reaches around 80 degrees, the radiator will fill up, so the level in the expansion tank will drop.

    • The air in the circuit is now expelled. Close the quarter-turn valve and check that there are no leaks.

    • Reposition the plate under the engine

    • Adjust the level (vehicle with all 4 wheels on the ground). Make sure that the maximum level is not exceeded when the vehicle reaches operating temperature.

    • Replace the expansion tank cap.
