Introduction

Tutorial made on a Renault Clio 3 Phase 2 1.5 dCi 86 hp

  1. Open the driver's side door and pull the handle located under the steering wheel. Open the hood and secure it with the support bar Open the hood and secure it with the support bar

  2. Locate the turbo boost sensor Disconnect the connector Disconnect the connector
    • Locate the turbo boost sensor

    • Disconnect the connector

  3. Using a Torx T 25 key, unscrew then remove the screw holding the sensor Remove the sensor from its location Remove the sensor from its location
    • Using a Torx T 25 key, unscrew then remove the screw holding the sensor

    • Remove the sensor from its location

  4. Compare old and new turbo pressure sensor (dimension, connector plug) Compare old and new turbo pressure sensor (dimension, connector plug) Compare old and new turbo pressure sensor (dimension, connector plug)
    • Compare old and new turbo pressure sensor (dimension, connector plug)

  5. Clean the location before repositioning the sensor Replace the sensor Replace the sensor

    • Replace the sensor

  6. Replace and tighten the sensor retaining screw using a T25 Torx key. Reconnect the connector plug Reconnect the connector plug
    • Replace and tighten the sensor retaining screw using a T25 Torx key.

    • Reconnect the connector plug

Hello I have the same problem Renault tells me that it is a ground an injector or the harness they can't see because I have to stop and the stop light stays on 😑😑😑even with 2 diagnostic runs

Hello, I have a loss of power on my Clio 3 1L5 DCI. I changed the boost sensor as explained above. I just checked if the light (Injection control) has cleared and it still appears. I think it's the glow plugs. Do you see anything else? Thank you for your answers in advance.
