Secure the tailgate with a broomstick-type bar

Locate the 2 jack attachments.

Remove the tether pin by pushing it upwards using a screwdriver.

Disengage the jack.
-

Remove the tie pin by pushing it upwards using a screwdriver.

Disengage the jack.
-

Check the correspondence between the old and the new trunk cylinder (length, attachments).

For ease, pre-arrange the pin.

Fit the jack into its housing.

Put the pin in place using a screwdriver.

Proceed in the same way for the bottom of the jack
