Follow this tutorial step by step to replace your tailgate struts.

Remove the tether pin by pushing it upwards using a screwdriver.

Apart from the fact that the fixing of the jacks on the body is not in accordance with your photo, a normal jack does not fit, or the legs must also be changed.
