Changing the trunk cylinders on a Peugeot 406 coupe

Open the trunk.

Locate the jack.

Using a flat screwdriver, pry the fastener out.

Once the fastener is removed, pull to release the jack from its location.

Repeat the same operation below

Remove the fastener using a flat-head screwdriver.

Pull the jack out of its location.

Compare the removed cylinder with the new one, as well as its dimensions

Using a cloth, clean the location.

Grease both guides.

Position the new cylinder.

Install the new ram on the guide.

Do the installation on the other end of the jack.

Repeat the operation on the other side.

Your new jacks are now in place.

You can close your trunk.
