Place the flat screwdriver between the clip and the fastener holding the top of the jack

Rotate the clips and pull towards you to detach the top of the cylinder

Compare the old and the new trunk cylinder (dimensions,attaches)

Insert the bottom of the jack by clipping it onto the clip

Reposition the top of the jack by clipping it onto the clip

Perform the same operation on the other side of the tailgate with the second jack.
    • Insert the bottom of the jack by clipping it onto the clip

    • Reposition the top of the jack by clipping it onto the clip

    • Perform the same operation on the other side of the tailgate with the second jack.

    • Remove the broom and test the effectiveness of the new trunk cylinders
