Changing the tailgate struts on a Peugeot 205

Use a broom handle or get help to hold the tailgate open while removing the jacks.

To use un tournevis plat to remove the plastic clip that holds the cylinder.

Then remove the clips by hand.

Pull on the jack to separate the ball joint.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the 2nd ball joint.

Check that les vérins neufs correspond to the old ones.

Fit the jack into the ball joints

Place the plastic clips then press on them to fix the jacks.

Repeat the previous steps for the right cylinder.
