Changing the tailgate struts on Renault Clio 3

Opening the trunk

For safety reasons, place the broom under the trunk.

Remove the top clips

Remove the bottom clips

Unhook the tailgate from above

Unhook the bottom of the tailgate

Check the correspondence between the old and new tailgate cylinders

Check fasteners and size

Start at the top: Position the tailgate cylinder and clip in place

Clip the jack at the bottom

Check that the jacks are securely attached

Check that the trunk is working properly
