Changing the tailgate cylinder on Renault Twingo 1

Open the trunk

Position a broom to hold the tailgate when you remove the jacks.

Position le tournevis plat between the clips and the fastener holding the top of the cylinder

Perform a lever movement and remove the clips

Place the flat screwdriver between the clip and the fastener holding the bottom of the jack

Use a lever movement to remove the clips

Remove the tailgate cylinder

compare the old and le nouveau vérin (length)

Reposition the new cylinder by inserting it into its location (bottom then top)

Perform the same operation on the other tailgate cylinder

Remove the wiper and test the tailgate opening
