This tutorial explains how to change the 4 spark plugs on your Megane 1 phase 1 1.4 i 75cv

Turn off the engine to disconnect the battery(it is located at the top left under the windshield bay)

Unscrew the nut holding the terminal

Remove the pod and place it on a cloth

Visualize the location of the 4 candles

To pull the spark plug cable pulling up

Using the ratchet and the universal joint socket, loosen the spark plug.

Completely unscrew the spark plug with the extension then remove the spark plug from its well.

Remove the spark plug from the socket

Place a rag in the spark plug well

Compare the old and the new spark plug(length, connectors)

Blow out the inside of the wells

Insert the new spark plug into the socket

Reposition the new spark plug in the well then screw in using the socket and the extension.

Using the ratchet and socket tighten the spark plug without over tightening so as not to break the spark plug inside the well.

Replace the spark plug cable up to the clips that indicate the correct positioning of the cable

Each spark plug cable has a number indicating the correct cable for the correct spark plug, be sure to respect the numbering.
