Introduction

This tutorial helps you to change the spark plugs on the 308 II Gti TCR 2018 308cv of Aurélien Comte, official Peugeot Sport driver.

  1. 
Raise your hood and locate the spark plugs.
    • Raise your hood and locate the spark plugs.

    • To remove the spark plugs, I recommend doing them one by one, which avoids reversing the cables and limits the introduction of impurities into each cylinder.

Remove the connector from the coil

Remove the coil
    • Remove the connector from the coil

    • Remove the coil

  3. 
Slide the socket wrench in and loosen the spark plug using the ratchet.

Loosen counterclockwise (anti-clockwise)

Finish unscrewing the spark plug by hand with the socket wrench
    • Slide the socket wrench in and loosen the spark plug using the ratchet.

    • Loosen counterclockwise (anti-clockwise)

    • Finish unscrewing the spark plug by hand with the socket wrench

  4.

  5. 
Make sure the new spark plugs are the same size as the old ones.

Replace the spark plug

Take the socket and hand tighten clockwise.

Finish tightening using the ratchet
    • Replace the spark plug

    • Take the socket and hand tighten clockwise.

    • Finish tightening using the ratchet

  7. 
Put the coil back

Connect the connectors
    • Put the coil back

    • Connect the connectors
