To access the reverse light bulbs, we will need to remove the plastic cover as well as the taillight.

To do this, open your trunk then place a plastic removal tool or a small flat screwdriver in the slot of the cover then lever it up to remove it completely.

Now you will need to remove the connector by simply pinching it at each end and pulling hard on it.

Unscrew the nut using a ratchet, an extension and a socket that swivels and pivots in size 10.

You can now close your trunk and gently pull the rear light out of its housing.

We now have access to the reverse light bulb.

Turn the support holding the bulb in the unscrewing direction.

Remove the bulb by gently pulling on it and then replace a new bulb.

Replace the taillight in its holder, respecting its direction.

Reconnect the connector, respecting its direction as well.

Review the 10 nut with your ratchet, extension and swivel socket.

    • Replace the plastic cover that is inside the trunk.
