Introduction

replacement of rear shock absorbers on jumpy phase 1

  1. 
Loosen the two shock absorber screws/nuts (ratchet + 18 mm flat wrench)

Shim the suspension arm then remove the lower bolt
    • Loosen the two shock absorber screws/nuts (ratchet + 18 mm flat wrench)

    • Shim the suspension arm then remove the lower bolt

    • Remove the top bolt then the shock absorber

  2. 
check the similarity between used and new parts.

Clean the screws with a wire brush if necessary. Grease to facilitate reassembly.

Present the new shock absorber, put the two bolts without tightening them
    • Present the new shock absorber, put the two bolts without tightening them

    • Once the two bolts are in place, tighten the assembly.

    • Reassemble the wheel (light tightening), remove the axle stand, jack, tighten. Same technique for both sides.
