Loosen the wheel nuts about one turn

Raise the vehicle, secure it with a jack stand, then finish loosening the wheel nuts and remove the wheel.

Unscrew the axle at the shock absorber head

Unscrew the 2 rear nuts, locking the main nut with a flat spanner then opening the lock nut first.

Remove the shock absorber. If necessary, use a jack to raise the arm.

Install the new shock absorber respecting the direction of the silent blocks: Cup - Silent block - chassis support - cup - silent block - cup

Tighten the upper axle (55 Nm)

Place the lower nut (tighten to 55Nm) then the lock nut

To facilitate removal (and reinstallation), separate the 2 fixing points by raising the arm with a jack (Lift at the level of the flange), in order to lift as much as possible, do not hesitate to put weight in the 4L

To facilitate the installation of the new shock absorber, clamp it in maximum compression using wire for example.
