Introduction

This tutorial helps you to change the rear light plate on a Peugeot 206.

  1. 
To access the plate, you must remove the lights.

you have to remove the carpet to access the lights, to do this there is a small plastic clip to remove (photo 3) using a flat screwdriver lever on the central part of the clip.

Once the carpet is removed, we have access to the lights.

undo the plastic nut using a pair of pliers

then remove the ground wire

unplug the connector

undo the nut with a 10mm wrench then separate the plate from the light by pulling on it

compare the dimensions of the two plates as well as the connections

put the new plate in the lights and tighten the nut.

then put the light nipple (blue arrow) back in place (see red arrow)

put the ground wire back on then tighten the plastic nut, plug the connector into the light

Put the carpet back correctly under the rubber trunk seal then the plastic clip.
