Changing the rear engine mount - Citroën C2

The rear engine mount is located under your vehicle and runs along the exhaust

Using a 16 flat wrench

Unscrew the first screw of the rear engine mount without removing it

Unscrew the second screw from the engine mount

Remove the screw from the bracket

Remove the second screw from the bracket

The engine mount is now free

Compare the dimensions of the new support with the old one

Here are some signs of wear on the old engine mount.

Using brake cleaner and a wire brush, clean the screws

Apply grease to the screws

Place the first part of the engine support then the screw

Apply grease to the second screw

Place the second part of the engine support

Place the screw

Tighten it using the 16 flat wrench.

Tighten the second screw

Remove excess grease from screws
