Introduction

Replacement of rear brake pads with electric parking brake on Renault Laguna 3 2.0 dCi 16V FAP 150 hp

It is imperative to properly wedge the vehicle before intervening.

Brake pads should always be changed at the same time on the same axle.

    • Reattach the parking brake cable

  9. Put the parking brake back on

    • Reassemble the wheel

    • Remove the shims and jack

    • Tighten the wheel

    • Remember to "pump" your brake pedal.

I'm taking the liberty of digging up this topic because I have the same problem, brake cable too short and I would like to know if anyone has managed to loosen it a little to put it back please?

Did you get an answer for the parking brake and giving it some play when putting the cable back on the caliper. How to give it some play.
