  1. Raise and chock the rear of the vehicle. Remove the wheels to gain access to the braking system. Securing the vehicle: removing and refitting the wheel
  2. To facilitate removal, unscrew the brake hose and handbrake cable brackets. Use a 10mm wrench for the brake hose

  5. Secure the caliper on a jack stand and with bungee cords to avoid damaging the hoses. Open the brake fluid reservoir cap in the engine compartment.

  6. Using a piston pusher, move the latter aside to be able to install the new brake pads. Don't forget to close the fuel cap.

  7. Clean the pad holders. Compare the dimensions of the old and new brake pads.

  8. Place the new brake pads. Replace the brake caliper. Use the new fixing screws or apply thread lock to the original ones.

  9. Tighten the brake caliper screws. Replace the brake hose and handbrake cable brackets Press the brake pedal repeatedly until it stiffens before driving the vehicle.

    • Follow the manufacturer's instructions for bedding in new brake pads.
