The license plate light bulbs are located on the upper tailgate flap. On either side of the opening button.

Open the trunk for better access. Set the headlight control to zero.

Start by removing the protective cover, locate the small notch.

Insert a flathead screwdriver into this notch.

Use the screwdriver to gently pry up the transparent cover.

Remove the plastic cover to access the bulb.

Grasp the bulb with your fingers and pull outward to dislodge it from its holder.

Identify the orientation of the connectors before replacing the lamp.

Insert the new bulb until it stops.
