Introduction

This tutorial aims to help you replace the front brake pads on Renault Scénic 3 - 1.9 DCi FAP 131 CV

The wheel can be placed under the rocker panel. Start with the driver's side wheel. For better accessibility, rotate the disc.

Push your piston back until it compresses (using the piston pusher)

Now you need to use the screwdriver to shift the metal spring.

Whether there are 4 or 5 studs is not important since the caliper system is the same….

Works very well on Grand Scénic 3 2.0 Dci 160 Jade from 2010/02. Remember to check the brake level in the reservoir and empty it with a syringe when it rises when you push the piston back.

Hello, the tutorial is the right one, I changed my front brake pads and it's very easy. On the other hand, in the photo of the front hub, there are only 4 tapped holes to fix the wheel while there are 5 on the Scenic 3. Otherwise everything is good.

Pretty clear. I tested it on Scénic III phase 2 from 2013. Be careful, you need a 7-point hex key and not a 6-point key.

Good evening, I think this tutorial is not for a Scenic 3 but for a Scenic 2. The middle of a Scenic 3 has 5 studs for fixing the wheel. Sébastien.
