Introduction
Tutorial to change the Peugeot 207 exterior air temperature sensor.
-
-
Unclip a pivot with a screwdriver.
-
There are four clips to detach.
-
Be careful not to break the clips by forcing them.
-
-
-
Locate the two wires of the outdoor temperature sensor.
-
Cut, strip and twist wires.
-
Make sure the car is turned off and the wires are not touching.
-
-
-
Strip and twist the wires.
-
Wrap a piece of heat shrink tubing around each of the wires.
-
-
-
Solder the wires of the mirror and the sensor with tin.
-
Using a lighter, heat the heat shrink tubing.
-
The probe is not polarized. The order of the wires does not matter.
-
-

Good morning,
The mirrors on the 807 are different, so a different disassembly is to be expected. However, inside, the probe is the same.
Good luck
Well done tutorial with color codes, it's nice when it's clean, understandable, and with color codes
Good evening,
After having carried out this series of operations, is it necessary to have to carry out an additional action using an electronic suitcase, in order to validate the removal of the fault with an encoding, in order to cancel the external temperature information appearing erroneously on the dashboard as well as the alarms associated with the malfunction of the display of the digital values initially noted?
Thank you in advance for your informed response.
