Using the ratchet, extension and 16 socket, loosen the clamp between the exhaust manifold and le catalyseur

Using penetrating oil and a long screwdriver, remove the rubber stops from the rods at the catalytic converter.

Repeat the operation on the stop at the rear of the pipe

Using the ratchet, extension and 13 socket, loosen the clamp bolts between the pipe and le silencieux arrière
-
Loosen the 2 nuts securing the frontmost stop, then pull on the stop to remove it.

Tap the stop with a hammer to make it easier to remove.

Repeat the operation on the other stop

Remove the silencer

Pull the catalyst backwards and then lower the front of the catalyst to remove it.

Compare the length, the pipe bends, and especially the location of the fixing rods
-
Compare the shape of the silencers and the mounting rods
-
Compare the fixing stops
-

-
Grease the rods to make it easier to remove the stops.

Compare the stops
-
Position the new stops on the rods of the new catalyst
-
Pay attention to the direction of the stops
-
-
-
Position les nouvelles butées on the stems of the new silencer
-
Pay attention to the direction of the stops

Route the catalyst pipe over the rear axle
-
-
-
Pass the front of the catalyst into its housing
-
Fix the stops Before catalyst on the rods
-
Grease the rods to facilitate insertion of the stops
-
Fix the stop central of the catalyst on the rod
-

Secure the stop located next to the suspension spring by tightening the 2 nuts
-
Insert the silencer rod into this stop
-
Reposition the front part collar
-
-
-
Secure the second stop by tightening the 2 nuts.

Place the junction collar between the pipe and the silencer then tighten the 2 nuts while adjusting the position of the silencer

Finish by blocking the collar of the front part
-
