Open the hood to access the engine.

The EGR valve is located at the rear of the engine, on the driver's side.

Remove the intake air duct. Rotate the tube a quarter turn to unclip it and then remove it from its housing.

Loosen the clamp placed on the turbocharger with an 8 socket or a flat screwdriver. Do the same on the sensor clamp.

Pull the pipe and unclip the plastic clip at the same time

Remove the air line.

Remove the three 8mm screws from the intake air flow meter, 2 above and 1 below.

Disconnect the first 2 diesel pipes from the filter.

Remove the electrical connector.

    • Disconnect the first 2 diesel pipes from the filter.

    • Remove the electrical connector.

Disconnect the third diesel pipe from the back of the filter.

Press the filter locking tab onto its holding bracket.

Gently remove the filter from its housing and disconnect the hose then the connector located underneath.
    • Disconnect the third diesel pipe from the back of the filter.

    • Press the filter locking tab onto its holding bracket.

    • Gently remove the filter from its housing and disconnect the hose then the connector located underneath.

Gently remove the filter from its housing and disconnect the pipe then the connector located underneath.

Remove the three screws securing the filter bracket.

Remove the support.
    • Gently remove the filter from its housing and disconnect the pipe then the connector located underneath.

    • Remove the three screws securing the filter bracket.

    • Remove the support.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.

Remove the air box.
    • EGR valve.

    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve.

    • Remove the air box.

The EGR valve has two fixing screws accessible from the rear.

    • Installing a new EGR valve requires reprogramming the engine management in a garage equipped to perform this procedure. Take note of the valve serial number.
