Introduction
An electronic breakdown? Before rushing to the garage, check if it's the fuse!

-
From the driver's seat, the fuse location is at your left knee.
-
A small plastic hatch is easily removed by pulling it downwards.
-
The fuses are on the right (framed in red in the 3rd photo).
-
-
-
On the inside of the plastic hatch, you have a numbered diagram of the fuses. You will find these numbers in your manufacturer's manual.
-
So, depending on the problem you suspect, you will know which fuse to check.
-
For example, we have a problem with the rear wiper. There is a fuse for that!! Head to the manufacturer's manual, we see that it is number 26.
-
From the plastic tablet diagram we see that fuse #26 is located roughly in the middle, second from the left on the top line.
-
-
-
Using the small plastic clip attached to the plastic hatch (if it is no longer there, use a pair of tweezers), you can grab the fuse and pull it towards you.
-
It comes quite easily...
-
Then, we check if the connector (inside the plastic part) has blackened. If yes, then we must replace the fuse with another one of the same amperage (it is clearly identified on the back of the fuse: 5, 10 or 15 milliamps).
-
Here, in the second photo, our fuse is impeccable (no trace of black), so it is not the fuse that is at fault. We will have to look on the mechanical part!
-
Usually, you have spare fuses with your bulb box. Don't forget to restock (on your favorite spare parts site!) if you used any!
-
Once the fuse has been changed, simply put the plastic hatch back in place.

I am looking for the fuse corresponding to the central locking and opening of the doors on my Skoda Fabia.
